When you finally manage to break free (sleep paralysis can be very strong), BAM- you are right back to dealing with the problems. There’s no break for the mind. And it wears you down because your brain is forced to think about sucky stuff 24/7, 365. Dreams were once an escape, now they’re just another issue.
